-A company wanted to use recyclate PE instead of virgin PE in their product. In the beginning, the virgin material properties were determined through tests. Those properties were put into the tool. The matrix tool provided a ranking of materials using the database. The matrix tool provided the ranking of the potential recyclates. Out of the ranking 3 recyclates were chosen and the suppliers were contacted. The recyclates were ordered and tested for verification of the properties. After the test one of the recyclates was selected for their product.
